Hey Folks,
It’s that time of year once again. Thanks so much for stopping by to read the blog here and view the photos, I appreciate it.
Here are my pick of images (34) for 2011. I hope you enjoy them.
You’ll find a great list of photographers’ photos of the year on Jim Goldstein’s blog. Check it out.
Thanks
Cheers
Carl
Great new Alaska images, Carl. I can see why you didn’t narrow it down any more than 34 because there are so many top notch photographs here. It is hard to choose, but if hard pressed I would say that my favorites are “Wildflowers, Nizina Lake,” “Wrangle Mountains, Willow Lake,” and “Arrigetch Creek and Peaks.” What a privilege you have to be in such wild places and to make such wonderful photos. You’ve made some good choices in your life for sure…may your 2012 bring you more of this quality of experience.

This collection just speaks wilderness to me Carl. Congrats on what looks to be a very nice year for you. Hope you have just as great 2012 or better.
Hey Mark,
Thanks so much, man, and same right back to ya. Have a great year!!!
David, thanks a bunch. I appreciate that. 34 is actually quite narrow; I shot thousands of images the last 365 days. 🙂 Happy New year back to you as well – have a great one.
Cheers

Beautiful images, Carl! I particularly liked the one of the bear following the photographer…
Hope you are having a great 2012 so far! Looking forward to a prosperous year ahead.

Great selection Carl.
It was a privilege to be with you for three of the photos and an honor to be featured in another. Go Eagles.
Here’s to sharing some image opportunities in 2012.

Liked the northern lights, and also the fall colours Alaska – really nice abstract feel to it.
