High clouds over Wrangell Mountains, and the butte known as “Wolverine” silhouetted against the evening summer sky. Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve, Alaska.
I thought this high cloud floating above ‘the butte’ was pretty cool, and so silhouetted it against the rock. Hope you like it.

I love it. The butte outline is quite interesting and bold, while the cloud is whispy, etheric and soft. The whispy part of the cloud looks like it grew out of the denser, undulating clouds in the lower left, which tend to tie it all together.
