3-Toed Woodpecker on Spruce Tree, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, Alaska.

Hey Folks,

Here’s a 3-toed woodpecker (three-toed woodpecker –ย Picoides dorsalis) from Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

Welcome back, albeit briefly. I’m going to spend the next couple of months recharging a bit, and breaking from the net and blogging and writing and reading and blah, blah, blah. A little quiet time will do me good, I think. Hopefully during that time I’ll pick up some new images and also try to come up with some ideas to write about that will make the blog a little more interesting. We’ll see how that goes.

I’ll try to make a post or 2 along the way. In the meantime, you folks be careful out there.

Cheers

Carl

Hey Carl!!! Welcome back! Even for a brief time. We have all missed your ALREADY interesting stories & blogs, but we can respect that you need a break. Hey, the three -toed woodpecker is pretty cool. He looks reptillion in the eyes, which of coarse a lot of birds do. But isn’t that a quite small bird? Hey look, I hope you have a good, restful, fun break. You certainly deserve it! We’ll just irritate Ron!!!LOL!! Be careful on that snowboard! Beth

Yeah, I bet that post every two weeks has you wiped out. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun – sounds like it is storming pretty good out there!

    Hey Carl,

Good to hear from you again! Was starting to wonder if a love-horn moose caught up with you or something! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m with Ron, your work schedule is making me tired!

    Hey kids

You guys are so funny. Ron, for the record, my last post was WAY longer than 2 weeks ago.

Carry on, make fun of me if you will – but I’m the one in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

    Cheers

    Hey Carl,

“Carry on, make fun of me if you will – but Iโ€™m the one in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.” – very true, see me go green with envy? ๐Ÿ™‚

While you take the well deserved break from blogging, reading etc., have fun with your snowboard!

    BTW,

I just wanted to wish you folks a Merry Christmas and A Very Happy 2009! Maybe its kinda early, but 2009 will come and go before we know it!!

    Cheers!
    Sai
